As previously reported, Australia’s Cut Copy will follow up last year’s Free Your Mind with a new 10-inch due out for Record Store Day (April 19th).

Already we’ve heard the sensuous A-side “In These Arms of Love”, and today the band has unveiled its B-side, “Like Any Other Day”. Jettisoning the intimate confines of a ballad, the band now head into the psychedelic stratosphere. Once there, Cut Copy forges a potent mix of Pink Floyd-inspired guitar deluges, surges of hazy atmospherics, and vocals that alternate between hushed whispers and intense wails. Equal parts exhilarating and foreboding, the song builds with the grace and power of a rocket ship spiraling into deep, deep space.
