NEW EP FOR BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN

Bruce Springsteen is commemorating Record Store Day (April 19th) by releasing a new EP. Entitled American Beauty, the record collects three unreleased tracks from Springsteen’s latest album High Hopes – “American Beauty”, “Mary Mary”, and “Hey Blue Eyes” — plus a fourth standalone single, “Hurry Up Sundown”.

In anticipation, you can stream “Hurry Up Sundown” at NPR. An electrifying merger of earnest folk and rollicking arena rock (seriously, the chorus makes me want to jam out in the middle of a cornfield), the track features Springsteen playing every instrument with the exception of drums. Rather, those are handled by none other than Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Devo, Nine Inch Nails).

While the origins of “Hurry Up Sundown” are unknown, the track proves that, even as he spent much of High Hopes solemnly ruminating, the Boss is still a wellspring of youthful exuberance. Though, Courtney Love may disagree.

THE KOOKS : TWO MORE SONGS FROM "DOWN" NEW EP

 British rock band "The Kooks" revealed recently more tracks from their new work. The first track is called "Hooray For Henry" and closely resembles the sound of the Rolling Stones in their heyday.

The second track is titled "Hold On", released on Tuesday (15), mixing funk and soul, and a strong influence of R & B, Luke Pritchard. As the single "Down", this track also has the collaboration of hip hop producer Inflo.


 Both songs include on the EP "Down", which will release on April 20.

OFFICIAL : AC / DC SAYS "IT WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE MUSIC"

The AC / DC published an official message on their Facebook page to clarify the rumors about the possible end of the band. In short message confirms that the guitarist Malcolm Young will leave the band temporarily to take care of his health. "After 40 years of life dedicated to AC / DC, founding member and guitarist Malcolm Young is temporarily leaving the band due to a health problem.

Malcolm would like to thank the band’s diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never ending love and support, "says the text. Then they ask that the privacy of Malcolm and his family be respected during this time and end the message saying that "the band will continue to make music." Since Monday a number of disparate news about the future of AC / DC began to circulate.

The most fatalistic said Malcolm had suffered a stroke that left him unable to play. They said that for years the group vowed it would separate when some of its members could not join the band for health reasons.
